We can tell you our big library news now: The Otselic Valley Library claims official Reading Room status through the 4 County Library System!This means we receive a rotating collection of books that will switch out every 6 months from the public library system servicing libraries in Broome, Chenango, Delaware, and Otsego Counties. This new collection will be of interest to readers outside of school who visit during Open Library hours. Yes, you can check them out!Our first delivery has arrived – those were the boxes carried in by helpful students – and Ms. Charles has already shelved the books in time for today’s Open Library (Tuesday, Dec. 6, 3- 7 pm).Just wait till you see what’s there. If you have favorite authors, you’ll likely find them.
