Children 18 years old and under, including those who don’t live in our district, can eat two FREE meals per day at Otselic Valley Central School thanks to the USDA-sponsored Summer Food Service Program. On Mondays through Thursdays from July 5 till July 28, breakfast is served from 7:30 am - 8:30 am, and lunch is served from 11:30 am - 12:30 pm. No application or proof of need is required. Meals are being served to students participating in Otselic Valley’s Mad Scientist Summer Camp and the Summer Sports Program, but any child or teenager age 18 or under may walk in during available meal times. You don’t have to be a permanent resident of our school district to participate. This federally funded, state-administered program reimburses program operators like the Otselic Valley cafeteria program for healthy meals served to children and teens in low-income areas.
