Otselic Valley Central School District

The following is information on Pre-K and Kindergarten enrollment for the 2022-2023 school year. Please pass this along if you know of a family in our District with a Pre-K student who doesn't currently have a child in school.  A registration form (attached, in the Main Office, or here) can be filled out and returned to Mrs. Burpee, District Clerk.  Additional forms will be sent in the summer. Pre-K registrations will continue to be accepted until the class is filled; later applicants will be placed on a wait list.Otselic Valley Central School Kindergarten RegistrationKindergarten registration for the 2022-2023 school year at Otselic Valley Central School has begun.  Children who will be five years old before December 1, 2022 are eligible to be enrolled.  The initial registration form is attached, linked here, or can be found in the Main Office.  Additional registration materials will be mailed in early summer. Current students in the Otselic Valley Pre-K program need not re-enroll. Otselic Valley Central School Pre-Kindergarten Registration The Otselic Valley Central School District is also accepting applications for its Pre-K program.  Only parents who are district residents with an age-eligible child may apply.  To be eligible a child must be four years old on or before December 1, 2022 and cannot be five years old before that date.Per New York State Regulations, selection for Pre-Kindergarten slots for the 2022 - 23 school year will be done randomly after all initial registration forms have been received by the deadline (March 15, 2022).  Assuming that State funding will be held at the same level for next year as this year, we will only be able to accept a total of 18 students.  Registration forms will be numbered and date stamped on the day they are received.The deadline for all Pre-K early registration has passed, but registrations will continue to be accepted until the class is filled; later applicants will be placed on a wait list.
