We are pleased to announce that the Liberty Partnerships Program (L P P) is again returning to Otselic Valley under the leadership of Jordan Klein.Ms. Klein is our new Student/Family Education Advocate within L P P. She’s from Morrisville but now lives in the district with her family. “I am familiar with the community feel a small town has,” she explained. “Spending time with my family, baking, playing soccer and going to the beach are some of my favorite things. I enjoy taking my dog for a walk and exploring the outdoors when I have free time.  I am also a student at SUNY Morrisville where I will receive a degree in Applied Psychology this spring, and hope to continue furthering my education. I am looking forward to working with students and families! Please reach out for further information about the exciting L P P program.”L P P is a year-round program that focuses on encouraging middle and high school students to graduate and explore colleges/careers. L P P is involved with SUNY Morrisville and is placed in area schools including Unadilla Valley, Bainbridge- Guilford, and Norwich City Schools. The program provides many benefits to students and is used as an extra support area. Students can enter the program in 6th grade and be provided guidance through 12th grade and beyond. The purpose is to create a connection that helps students complete high school successfully and create positive relationships along the way. Ms. Klein is available daily for extra academic support, to provide mentorship, and to offer afterschool and summer programs. “I know we all want students to be successful,” she tells us. “With needed support comes better attendance, grades and relationships. My goal is to help students succeed and strive for family involvement as well. I am hoping to get started on afterschool programs in March and am already looking into rewarding summer experiences.” Learn more about the Liberty Partnerships Program by clicking HERE.
