June 15, 2021 Dear Families of Graduating Seniors: I hope this finds you well and excited about your child's upcoming graduation. This is a special time for family and friends, as well as for our seniors. As you know, the District must follow public health guidelines set by New York State and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (C D C). We have been waiting to pass along graduation week activities so that we can follow the most up to date guidelines. Here is what is planned for graduation week at Otselic Valley: Wednesday, June 23: Senior Athletic Banquet, Fred's Inn, Norwich. Contact ckalin@ovcs.org for more information. Friday, June 25: Graduation rehearsal at the school at 10:00 AM Friday, June 25: Baccalaureate at the Georgetown United Methodist Church, 5:00 PM (white church across from the Georgetown school on Route 80) Saturday, June 26: [UPDATED JUNE 23, 2021] GRADUATION, 10:00 AM on the front lawn, weather permitting. Due to changing state guidance, we are pleased to announce revisions to our graduation ceremony plan. Graduates' families will sit in a reserved section near the front where rows will be assigned by students' names. In addition, a general public section in the back will accommodate additional guests.
