You never know when or where a Viking's goodness will be noticed, but it happens all the time. This student plays with all his friends on the playground and shows them how to wait in line and not budge. This O V Star goes to Jaxon S. This student is so patient and willing to help his friends at choice time. This O V Star goes to Everett M. This student noticed a friend was having a hard time and came to tell an adult that her friend was feeling overwhelmed. She then told her friend, "I feel like that sometimes, too." It worked to take a break and she got back on track. This O V Star goes to Piper K. This student is always kind to others. She helps her classmates pick up, when she didn't use the items to be picked up. She is very polite and thoughtful toward others. She is a good example of a student who does her best, and is very helpful too. Thank you for being a kind Kindergartner. This O V Star goes to Aerieanna R. This student has become very mindful about making good choices about reacting to things that aren't the way he wants them. This student has shown good manners in the lunch room and took the time working on his math worksheet to teach Miss Blake about vortexes. Thank you for teaching about geometry! This student helped a friend at lunch time when they couldn't carry everything and for noticing that a friend in the class was feeling sad after not doing well on a spelling test. He quickly went over to try and cheer her up and got her smiling again. Thank you for being such a great friend! This O V Star goes to Corbin P. This student was working in groups for E L A and noticed one of his peers ran out of lead in her new mechanical pencil. He knew just who had some lead and quietly interrupted a group to see if they had some to offer her. He retrieved some lead and took it right to her so she could do her work. This student helped a friend complete her work. This O V Star goes to Autumn P. This student jumped up to help a friend pick up his breakfast when it spilled on the floor. The following students were so thoughtful when they offered to show two students who were absent how to draw their Koi fishes to catch up with the rest of the class. These O V Stars go to Addison P. and Ellie W. This student always takes the time to reflect on a moment to be thoughtful and be sensitive to other people's feelings. This O V Star goes to Caelin R. These students were walking in the hallway when a first grader's markers fell out of the box and scattered all over the floor. Without thinking, they not only stopped to help pick up the markers, but they helped put them back in the box. These O V Stars go to Mackenzie R. and Miranda H. These two students were in a band lesson and I needed help delivering items to classrooms. They both asked Mr. Decker if they could help and then took a ton of stuff to others. They checked back to see if I needed more help. Not only were they a huge help but they were so pleasant! Thanks boys! Also, Mr. Decker thanks teachers for sharing their kiddos with him for a minute! These O V Stars go to Owen D. and Caleb L. This student was a huge help to Mrs. Cantrell when it comes to assisting other students with science. This O V Star goes to Eric C. This student is a hard worker and has become confident in the work he does, especially his writing. He is also a great helper and kind friend. This O V Star goes to Ashville L. This student has been a caring friend by including everyone. She has helped clean up messes when didn't need to. She is also a hard worker and always tries her best. This O V Star goes to Piper K. In their After the Bell session, these students decided to work together to make bowling sets for the students who weren't there to make their own. These O V Stars go to Gabriel H., Callie E., Danielle H-B, Nate M., Paisley P., Aurora M., Kaydence D., and Julia B. This student was sitting in front of another student who began coughing. The student realized the other student was choking and immediately called for an adult. Thank you so much for being aware of your friend needing help and knowing to call for help!
