This year’s Valedictorian of the Class of 2021 at Otselic Valley Central School is Morgan Smith. Morgan is the daughter of Diane and Brian Smith of South Otselic. Morgan is currently enrolled in the DCMO BOCES New Visions program studying Law and Government. She has been president of the Class of 2021 for the past three years, is a member of the DCMO BOCES mock trial team, the light and sound director for Otselic Valley Drama Club, a member of the Envirothon team, and a member of the Chenango Chargers travel soccer team, and was captain of the varsity soccer team her junior year.  She was the guest speaker at the recent Chenango County School Boards’ Association Legislative Breakfast. She will be enlisting in the United States Air Force after graduation. It is also with great pleasure that we announce this year’s Salutatorian: Payton Guernsey. Payton is the daughter of Amy and Kevin Guernsey of North Pitcher. Payton has played soccer for OV since 7th grade and was on the cheerleading team in 9th and 10th grade. She is a member of the OV band and has been the treasurer for the Class of 2021 since her Sophomore year. She currently is participating in an adult soccer league. In the fall, Payton will be attending SUNY Cortland to major in Physical Education. Congratulations, Morgan and Payton!
