It's been a long time, but a Mask-querade is coming! Thanks to revised guidance about COVID-19 for large gatherings and creative flexibility by Otselic Valley, there will be an OV Prom on June 5, including an After-Prom event.  The “2020’s Roaring ‘Mask’querade" Junior-Senior Prom will take place at Raimo’s Ranch followed by After-Prom at the Bowling Barn, both in Cincinnatus. Students in 10th, 11th, and 12th grade may attend; 9th graders may attend only if invited by upperclassmen. Crowning will unfortunately not be open to the community due to COVID-19 regulations restricting the number of guests. Most importantly, masks will be worn during both Prom and After-Prom. Prom organizers have their work cut out for them, beginning with costs.  A long pandemic prevented fundraising that would have supported Prom and After-Prom. Instead, donations by businesses, organizations, and individuals can help fill the fundraising short-fall needed to help pay for costs: the venues, prom decorations, crowns, refreshments, a DJ service for Prom, and prizes for the After-Prom celebration. Unless donors prefer to remain anonymous, we look forward to publicly acknowledging your gift on OV’s social media and the website: GOLD: $100 and higherSILVER: $50-$99BRONZE: any amount under $50GIFT CARDS AND BASKETS: any amount Donations can be dropped off in the Main Office any time school is open.
