If you ever wondered what 3rd grade focus and teamwork look like, check outa recent videoof Vikings showing the scientific method in action.It looked like fun, and it was. Found objects in the classroom were used by teams to fulfill objectives, and then some.An objective was set, students engineered their projects accordingly, testing and reworking took place, predictions were made, and then they worked together to make observations and assess outcomes. Did it work? Why not? What else can you do?We recommend watching with the sound on in order to experience the learning process in action.  “I noticed something…” “Your turn…” “I love that! ‘I think, I think…’”The best part was not getting their cars to travel far down the ramp. The best part was learning how scientists work, think, cooperate, and learn.  It’s a lesson for a lifetime. Thank you, Mr. Gross!
