Thank you to the parents who provided critical feedback to our reopening task force during our telephone, Zoom, and in-person meetings.  At this time the district is planning on three Professional Development Days for staff on September 8, 9, and 10.  That will allow us to make sure our entire staff is aware of all the new safety procedures and expectations.  We also will be focused on making sure we are ready to start the school year for students using the blended model and those learning entirely remotely. The first day for student attendance will be on Friday, September 11th for students in the B cohort.  Students in the A cohort will begin school on Monday, September 14th.  Parents can expect a letter with more information, including student schedules, later this week from Mrs. Richards. The newest information from the Governor is that he is allowing soccer and other low impact sports to begin on September 21st.  While we know there is a lot of excitement I want to caution parents that we still need to hear from the state athletic association and our local section and league officials before we can provide details about what we will be able to do at Otselic Valley. We will be reaching out to families with updates as we know more. Thank you for your support. Michael R.
