The Otselic Valley Winter Sports Recognition Assembly this week celebrated student athletes’ high achievements including the Modified, JV, and Varsity Basketball teams’ seasons, and Viking Kali Waltz who played volleyball for Sherburne-Earlville. Coaches shared highlights that told the story: there were challenges and opportunities for a small team that stuck with it, a young team is growing into their skills and show promise, the Boys Varsity advanced to sectionals, Braeden Davis beat our school's scoring record, and more. You couldn’t miss the humor, applause, review, gratitude, and always…we look ahead.

SCHOLAR ATHLETE TEAMS AND INDIVIDUALS
The Scholar Athlete Awards were given to Vikings who excelled academically even while practicing and competing throughout their seasons.
Girls Soccer, Boys Basketball, and Girls Basketball were all named Scholar Athlete teams, which means 75% of the teams' members had a grade point average of 90 or above. Although the Boys Soccer team didn’t rise to Scholar Athlete team status, individuals shone as individual Scholar Athletes.
