The Career & Technical Education Student Recognition event held last week at the Alan D. Pole Campus in Norwich celebrated students in the CTE programs at DCMO BOCES. The standing room only audience learned about students' program completion as well as attainment of scholarships, certifications, endorsements, licensure, and other professional credentials. We’re proud of their achievements, and appreciate all who supported them along their paths.

Nicholas Palmer: The Gerald E. Cushman Memorial Award honoring a student who has demonstrated passion and commitment to the field of Conservation.
Mackenzie DuBois: Otis A. Thompson Scholarship, an award given to an outstanding senior who is continuing their education and plans to return to Chenango County to enrich our area with his/her trade skills.
Cameron Bartlett: BTA Outstanding Student Award provided by the BOCES Teachers' Assocciation to recognize outstanding accomplishments within their program.

We also want to remember Leanna Rothwell, a Viking whose scholarship in her name honors a student who demonstrates the qualities that Leanna shared including kindness, perseverance, and a positive attitude despite immense challenges. She persevered to the end. The scholarship was presented to Damian Livermore (Sherburne-Earlville).
