VIKINGS SOFTBALL DEFEATS MCGRAW >>
"The Lady Vikings fought a tough battle against McGraw last night led by Cassidy Will on the mound. She had 13 strikeouts and only gave up two walks. Abby White and McKenzie Reandeau both made great catches in the outfield to stall McGraw's offensive efforts. It was a tough game--it rained, snowed, and sleeted which caused errors for both teams. Offensively Paige Will led the Lady Vikings scoring on four of her five attempts. Cassidy Will led in the hits category with three, followed by two a piece from Tori Foster and Paige Will. Riley Bartlett managed to get on base at all five of her at bats, scoring on two of them. The Lady Vikings were aggressive in their baserunning, stealing a total of 12 bases. In the end the Lady Vikings came out on top: 15-13. Great game ladies!" -- Coach Graham

You never know what you'll see Vikings working on. Sometimes it's a traffic light that actually works, thanks to STEAM class ("STEAM" stands for Science+Technology+Engineering+Art+Math). Nice work, Nelson!
